120 generations to tolerate milk

Lactose tolerance is spreading fast in Europe. This is the finding of an international study, co-led by the lʹUniversity of Freiburg. The researchers discovered an evolutionary advantage that enabled lactose-tolerant individuals to have on average 6% more children than their contemporaries lacking this gene.
