AI wins over humans in the hunt for suspicious moles

Artificial intelligence outperforms dermatologists in detecting cancerous moles. A convolutional neural network has been trained by a German-French-American team. After analyzing 100,000 archival images of questionable moles, this system proved more reliable than 58 specialists from 17 countries.
