The arrival of HIV self-tests

It's now possible to test yourself at home for HIV, the AIDS virus. Kits are available in pharmacies in France and will arrive in Switzerland before this summer, according to the Federal Office of Public Health. Are these self-tests reliable and easy to use? Aren't there any dangers in self-testing?
