Audit Committee chairman resigns from FIFA

The chairman of FIFA's Audit and Compliance Committee, the Italian-Swiss Domenico Scala, has resigned. He is protesting against the adoption of a measure which, in his opinion, calls into question the independence of certain bodies within the institution, notably those responsible for investigating members.
