Autism: seeing the world differently

In Switzerland 0.6 to 0.8% of the population lives with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD). A quarter of these people have a severe disorder. Numbers on the rise in most countries, for reasons that are still unclear (immigration of more severely affected populations, increasingly premature births, more thorough diagnoses...).
