The Conservatoire et Jardin botaniques de Genève (CJBG) covers 28 hectares and is home to almost 14ʹ000 living species, as well as over 6 million dried plants. Some seven research projects are underway in Switzerland and abroad, not to mention a library containing 120ʹ000 books. The botanical garden is not only a place for strolling, but also a place for conserving plant species and disseminating knowledge.
