In the 2000s, the rise of the climate issue in the French mainstream media could have led to questions about the hold of market rationalities on the organization of societies. Looking back at the genesis and ordinary course of this public debate, Jean-Baptiste Comby's "La question climatique" shows how, on the contrary, a depoliticized vision of the climate issue was imposed.
