Feminicide: You're not born a woman, you die one

In Switzerland, a man kills his wife, partner or ex-partner every 2-3 weeks. More often than not, these feminicides are the culmination of a long series of acts of domestic violence. How can we understand the mechanisms involved in this ultimate violence? How can we prevent these murders and protect women and children? How can we support violent men before they endanger those around them?
