Getting back on your feet despite a neurodegenerative disease

Researchers at the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne and the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire Vaudois have tested an electronic implant capable of reactivating the spinal cord of a person suffering from orthostatic hypotension. This loss of consciousness in an upright position is one of the symptoms of certain neurodegenerative diseases.
