How does fentanyl affect the brain?

A research team from the lʹUniversity of Geneva has studied the effects of fentanyl on the brain in order to better understand its mechanisms and, thus, better understand a withdrawal from this more than powerful painkiller, often consumed as an extremely addictive recreational drug.
