Lʹépistaxis or nosebleed

Nosebleeds, or epistaxis in medical terms, are generally not serious phenomena, although they are impressive to see and experience. In some cases, however, it can be a sign of a more serious form of pathology, such as high blood pressure or a tumor. So how do we know whether our epistaxis is benign or whether we should seek medical advice?
