Middle East: general conflagration?

The escalation in the Middle East continues unabated. Iran has entered the conflict head-on, firing almost 200 missiles at Israel. A salvo in retaliation for the Hebrew state's operations against Hezbollah in Lebanon, operations which have left hundreds dead, including the leader of the Shiite militia, Hassan Nasrallah.
