More than a third of nurses in French-speaking Switzerland are of foreign origin

More than one in three nurses in Switzerland is a foreign national. This is the finding of sociologists at the University of Lausanne and the Haute Ecole de Santé in the canton of Vaud. The profession is changing, with implications for degrees of training.
