A new way to combat hepatic steatosis

Researchers at lʹEPFL, led by Johan Auwerx, have developed a potential treatment for the severe form of hepatic steatosis, also known as fatty liver disease. This treatment aims to inhibit the ACMSD enzyme, thereby reducing inflammation, reversing fibrosis and DNA damage.
