Non-invasive electrical stimulation of the spinal cord

Electrodes placed on the skin allow function to be restored in paralyzed hands or arms.Sixty-five tetraplegic patients underwent a two-month rehabilitation program, then used ARCEX therapy, a non-invasive method stimulating the spinal cord. Two-thirds of patients showed significant improvements.
