Pesticides: when will the carnage end?

The Swiss have just largely rejected two initiatives that wanted to ban synthetic pesticides completely, but that doesn't solve the problem. Three quarters of flying insects have disappeared. In Valais and Neuchâtel, close to vineyards, farmers are worried about the consequences of pesticides on human health.
