Pollutants in breast milk exceed safety standards

While the marketing of certain pollutants has been banned since 1986, their presence persists in our bodies and in the environment. One way of detecting them is to analyze breast milk. The results of a study commissioned by the Swiss Federal Office for the Environment (FOEN) show that pollutant levels in Swiss breast milk exceed safety standards.
