Reuse of building materials is growing in French-speaking Switzerland

A recycling center for building materials has been inaugurated behind the Halles nord of the Palais de Beaulieu in Lausanne. Its aim is to make the building sector, which is responsible for 37% of the canton of Vaud's greenhouse gas emissions, more sustainable by reusing components from demolition sites.
