Stopping tremors with ultrasound

Geneva University Hospitals are proposing a new method for calming tremors in people with Parkinson's disease. Whereas the treatments offered until now have been drug-based or required extensive neurosurgical intervention, ultrasound makes it possible to dʹagitate the area causing tremors without having to open the skull.
