In Switzerland, the cultural sector accounts for one in ten businesses

In 2018, 312,000 cultural workers were active in Switzerland, representing 6.3% of all working people. The added value of the cultural economy amounted to 15.2 billion francs, and one in ten businesses is cultural, according to the Federal Statistical Office.
