Switzerland, one of the world's most multicultural countries

Switzerland has four national languages, cantons of Catholic and Protestant origin. Its economic strength makes it a land of welcome for many foreigners. Around 40% of people over the age of 15 living in Switzerland have a migrant background, a third of whom hold Swiss nationality, according to lʹOFS figures for 2021. Is Switzerland the New York of Europe? What are the consequences, challenges and opportunities of this multiculturality?
