The targeted generosity of rats

Rats like to share their food. But a joint study by the Universities of Neuchâtel and Bern shows that they donʹt do so with just any of their fellow rats. An individual distributor is able, thanks to his sense of smell, to tell the difference between hungry rats and those who are only there to take advantage.
