Is two foreign languages too many at elementary school?

Languages and national cohesion are the subject of debate. And with good reason: the Thurgau parliament has decided to abolish early French language learning in favor of English. Other cantons could follow suit, including Schaffhausen, Zug, Nidwalden and Lucerne.
