Unsuspected grammatical system discovered in West African monkeys

Discreet inhabitants of tropical forests, olive colobus monkeys (Procolobus verus), signs living in West Africa, possess a communication system that they combine in sequences of up to 24 consecutive calls - combinations that are far from random. Scientists at the University of Neuchâtel have gone a step further and discovered a grammar.
