Vaccination: what rights do children have and from what age?

Children as young as 16 can be vaccinated against Covid-19 in virtually all cantons in French-speaking Switzerland. From mid-July 2021, vaccination should even be open to children as young as 12. Vaccinating minors is an important step, according to the Confederation's task force, as it would strengthen herd immunity. But access to vaccination for the very young also raises a number of questions, not least of a legal nature. It also raises broader questions about the role of parents in their children's vaccination.
