Aurélie Reusser-Elzingre is a Doctor of Linguistics, lecturer at the University of Neuchâtel and specialist in the French language and dialects of the French-speaking part of Switzerland. She explains the languages we speak and used to speak, particularly in the Jura region. The Jura dialect has one particularity: it's the only dialect in French-speaking Switzerland that isn't related to the Franco-Provençal dialect. So where does it come from?
