How do you make music from the movement of the planets?
Légende
The fusion of astronomy and music is beautifully illustrated in "Le Carnaval des Planètes", a work inspired by Johannes Kepler, who linked the movement of the planets to music in the 17th century. This idea is reinterpreted by astrophysicist Laurent Eyer and composer Simon Prêcheur-Llarena. They have included planets discovered after Kepler, such as Uranus and Neptune, creating a musical experience based on celestial mechanics.
