Mathieu Menghini, the strike: and afterwards

Mathieu Menghini is a historian and professor of cultural action at the University of Applied Sciences Western Switzerland. Previously, he directed the Centre culturel neuchâtelois (Neuchâtel), the Théâtre du Crochetan (Valais) and the Théâtre Forum Meyrin (Geneva), chaired the pool de théâtres romands, and sat on the board of Pro Helvetia. He is dramaturgic advisor to "1918.ch", a theatrical event that aims to show today's audiences how this unique event in Swiss history was triggered, from the point of view of ordinary people rather than authorities or union leaders.
