Mexico, Subcomandante Marcos retires

Famous Subcomandante Marcos, spokesman for the Zapatistas in Mexico, has announced that he is stepping down. The man who claims to be Che's successor and the defender of the Indians of Chiapas has become the darling of certain French intellectuals, nostalgic for the heyday of Che Guevara.
