Swedish paleogeneticist Svante Pääbo wins Nobel Prize for Medicine

The Nobel Prize for Medicine and Physiology was awarded on Monday to Sweden's Svante Pääbo, 67, for the sequencing of the Neanderthal genome and the foundation of paleogenomics.
