Understanding snowfall

Until now, snow event forecasts have been unreliable and inaccurate. After 20 years of research, the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne and the SLF-WSL Institute for Snow and Avalanche Research have developed a software program that provides a better understanding of the complexity of snow cover.
