Valérie Gorin: "In the humanitarian sector, women and children are the biggest sellers"

Since the start of the war in Ukraine, an unprecedented surge of solidarity has been created in Switzerland. Swiss Solidarity has already raised over CHF 80 million for the conflict, and individual offers of help are multiplying. But where does this particular compassion come from, and why is it less developed for other suffering populations?
