Medtronic yields to Irish sirens

The Medtronic company was American, it will become Irish, at least in the eyes of the American tax authorities! The Medtronic group, which manufactures medical devices, is buying out its competitor Covidien: this deal will enable it to become domiciled in Ireland and thus reduce its tax bill.
